2020 Human Race Team Participation Agreement

Participating Organizations agree to:

  • provide proof of non-profit status if requested by The Volunteer Center

  • designate a person to coordinate your organization's participation in the event

  • attend the Kickoff Breakfast

  • recruit walkers/runners who will raise money in your name

  • distribute contribution forms through your organization

  • collect contribution forms and money from your organization's walkers/runners

  • communicate to your participants about proper conduct during the race

  • turn in 100% of money and forms to The Volunteer Center by March 13, 2020 - all monies received after April 4, 2020 will roll over to next year's event.

The Volunteer Center agrees to:

  • coordinate the planning and implementation of the 2020 Human Race

  • provide promotional materials and contribution forms

  • assist participating organizations to succeed in the 2020 Human Race

  • promote the event to corporations, businesses and the general public

  • secure prizes and other incentives for participation

  • provide special event insurance for the day of the event

  • return at least 75% of the money raised by the organization to that organization

  • conduct an evaluation of all aspects of the event

BYO Human Race participants

A minimum registration fee of $30 is required to register your team. Each team member who wants a 2020 Human Race T shirt needs to raise $30. Checks must be received at the address below by September 30, 2020 for your BYO Human Race entries to be included in the BYO Human Race drawing.
